About GCHD
When new consoles hit the shelves I noticed, along with everyone else I'm sure, that the facade of each console changed, dramatically. Why were console manufacturers dumping so much money into the design and shape of their respective consoles? It's just the exterior, right? Isn't it about what's under the hood that matters? Older generation consoles appeared to be crafted by boring, stodgy old men that had a second love of masonry work. Simple power cord, zero choices on A/V connections, few buttons and one power light packed into a beefy, cold, mono-toned box. Open lid, insert game, push power/push power again/take out game/blow cartridge/insert game..etc.
Next Now-Gen Consoles are simply cooler looking than they used to be and I think there is a reason far beyond just being capable of making it cool. I believe it is because gamers are more sophisticated today because as we grew up, we never put the controller down. We each have our own style and unique tastes. We value technology to the point that it surpasses its primary function and spills over into comfort, lifestyle and ultimately decor. This is why our consoles are evolving and this is the very essence of why we are changing the rules of video game broadcast media.
If GameCinemaHD could be summed up in one word it would be; Style. The average gamer isn't living in their parent's basement, eating liquid-hot magma filled pizza pockets in the dark. We have careers, salaries, significant others and we partake in the social scene of nightclubs, concerts and parties. We have a wardrobe that consists of more than t-shirts and jeans. We also enjoy drinks. Real drinks. Not the sugar laden energy type, but top shelf, premium drinks, that we don't mind paying a little extra for. So if we want news, reviews and interviews related to video games, why is it delivered to us as if we are still children? Granted there are some great websites out there that skew to a slightly older demographic. But they are few and far between.
This is the reason we created GCHD. Games are created in high-definition. So should video game news, reviews, trailers and interviews. The average U.S. gamer is 33 years old. We don't think they are being addressed as adults relevant to video game broadcast media. This is our top priority at GCHD. We want to bring you the news, reviews, trailers and interviews that you expect, all the while speaking to you as an adult. We believe that video game news can be delivered in a stylish, sophisticated way and it is our mission to prove it to our audience. We are working hard to bring you exclusive content, all in high-definition and in a matter that negates current video game media outlets.
Enjoy our website, our video podcasts, our world exclusive content and parties and our high definition content found no where else but in the heart of Times Square, NYC. If you feel like we've missed the mark in anyway or that our promise to you has fallen short, please contact me. Yes, me directly. I will not give you an info@ or concerns@ email address. I respect my audience more than that. Be well and enjoy our vision. GCHD, Your image - Enhanced.
