John Riccitello takes the stage. Promises to show the developers and the
titles they are working on. Nothing more.
Rod Humble – The Sims – takes the stage.
Announces SimAnimals. Players can create the entire world by planting seeds,
mating animals, etc. Exclusive to the DS and Nintendo Wii.
The Sims 3 is announced for 2009. Promises that player decisions and
personalities will finally shape the rest of the world. All in a wonderful 3-D
environment.
Glen Schofield, Executive Producer at EA takes the stage, and begins
talking about Dead Space.
Talks about Zero Gravity and Dismemberment before showing live Demo. The game
HUD is actually in game, projected from Isaac's armor suite. He is instantly
locked in a gruesome battle, and tries frantically to dismember the disgusting
beast. He eventually defeats it and moves on.
He is grabbed by a long tentacle, and thrashed around unmercifully. He
eventually gets drug into a hole head first.
Moments later Glen unleashes the new trailer for Dead Space, and shows just how
terrifying the game can be.
(Dead Space looks to be one of the most terrifying titles in quite some
time)



Patrick Soderlund comes out, and begins to show a live demo of Mirrors
Edge.
Shows main character, Faith, jumping speedily over skyscrapers. Looks to be the
most advanced 1st-person perspective ever created in a video game. She makes
her escape and then tosses the package to Celeste, another “runner” from
Mirrors Edge. She eventually jumps to the bottom of a helicopter, and completes
the mission. The new trailer for Mirrors Edge starts moments later.

Will Wright takes the stage, and begins to speak about Spore.
Talks about how popular the creature creator was, and how many downloads it
received. He also illustrated multiple fan-made creatures that even his
development team didn’t realize was possible.
New trailer then starts playing, depicting how creatures in the game mate,
fight, and evolve into civilizations.

Peter Moore takes the stage for EA Sports.
Bill Walton then joins the crew onstage to help demo NBA Live 09. He begins
talking about how NBA Live 09 and EA Sports have captured the emotion of the
sport.
A new feature called Dynamic DNA is announced. Each player has his own DNA,
which is broken down into different categories. NBA Live 09 will update daily
via Xbox Live to ensure athletes perform accordingly.
Categories;
Player Tendencies, Player DNA, and Team DNA are all taken into account when
calculating this.
Hot Zones also appear on the court now, telling you exactly where you should be
headed as an individual player. Team DNA is also in affect while calling plays;
numbers will represent the type of play you should run in certain situations.
The higher the number, the more chance it will succeed.
Peter Moore announces the All Play lineup made specifically for the
Nintendo Wii. These will have console specific features and controls designed
with the individual console in mind.
Tiger Woods 09. 20 courses in the game. Plays 1-on-1 with Natalie Gulbis. Peter
wins by a few strokes.
Trailer montage for iPhone games is shown. Tetris, Sodoku, Spore, Tiger Woods,
and Scrabble are most prominent of the group.
Greg Zeschick from BioWare takes the stage and begins to show Dragon
Age: Origins, which surprisingly looks a lot like Lord of The Rings.
Gabe Newell from Valve Software takes the stage and shows Left 4 Dead.
Begins to show two different groups playing the same scenario, and just how
differently each group’s performance changes the world around them. A new
trailer for Left 4 Dead is the shown.
