It would appear, from our tests at least, that importing your draft class from NCAA results in much higher rating peaks than it would if you allowed the players to be randomly generated. Of course, the trade off is your Dynasty will be full of generic players, so it's up to you to determine which path fits your individual taste. Hopefully, more info on this feature will be released very soon, or targeted in a future patch.
